Mother-2-Mother Home Visits $225.00

As a new mom your normal routine has taken a turn, this is where we meet each other, in a relaxing, familiar atmosphere discussing Any/All Breastfeeding problems that you may be experiencing. This is also a great opportunity for your support system (Dad, Significant Other, Family) to become more involved as you bond with and welcome the newest family member.

Here is what you can expect during our time together –

A history is taken of your birthing process, as well as that of you and your infants health, along with your breastfeeding problems and concerns. Your baby will be weighted before and after a feeding so that you will know your baby is getting enough milk . During my observation of your breastfeeding session, we will discuss and try different ways to make nursing your baby as comfortable and efficient as possible. Any questions you or your support system  may have will be answered in a compassionate, non-judgmental way. Information and resources are provided as we together come up with a feeding plan that best meets your needs. Ultimately allowing you to obtain your breastfeeding goals. At the end of our session, you will be given a Super Bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement at their discretion.

Initial consults are generally 90 minutes. Follow up’s, $175.00 are generally 60 minutes.

Multiples $75.00/child

Virtual consults $135.00

Virtual Follow-up's $85.00

Home-Visits more than 15miles are subject to $50.00 travel fee, Not covered by insurance.

What you need to know:

  • Patience with yourself and your baby: Think of it as learning to ride a bicycle.  You may be a little wobbly in the beginning, but with lots of patience and practice you will get the hang of it.  Your baby also requires your patience with them, after all they are learning to Suck, Swallow, and Breathe at the same time.

  • A hungry baby is a happy baby. While neither one of us wants your baby starving, a baby with a full stomach will not be able to show me what skills we need to work on during our time together.  If your baby is showing hunger cues while you are waiting for me to arrive do a light feeding for a few minutes. Just enough so that your baby does not have a rumbling tummy.

  • We all need help every now and then. Studies have shown the more support a new mother has in the early days of breastfeeding, the more likely she will continue to breastfeed.  I welcome having your support system  available during our session.

  • Have available supplies ready. Some babies require additional equipment to feed with, as well as medically indicated supplementation, be it (expressed) breast milk or Artificial Baby Milk (Formula).

  • Take care of you. Make sure you stay well-hydrated, as well as eating nutritional foods. Your body is working hard, so fuel it up!

  • Sleep when your baby sleeps.  Trust me, the dishes will still be there after your nap! Unless the dish-fairy (your support system) stopped by for a visit.
